Abstract:The P-and S-wave velocity and accurate conversion point locations are important to P-SV converted wave imaging.But the P-,S-wave velocity analysis and converted point location are interdependent,which make it difficult to derive correct P-and S-velocity.P-SV data consists of down-going P-wave and up-going SV-wave,so the P-SV wave travel time is the sum of P-wave travel time from source to conversion point and SV-wave travel time from conversion point to the receiver.We develop two methods to derive P-,S-velocity and conversion point location dynamically from P-SV travel time.One method is iteratively scanning P-and S-wave velocity while determining the conversion points.The other is scanning P-,S-wave velocity and conversion point simultaneously.Both methods adjust conversion point locations dynamically while doing velocity analysis.By flatting the common conversion point gather,we can evaluate velocity spectrum and stack the P-SV data dynamically.By this way,we can match the P-SV data with P-P data finally.
