Abstract:In this work,12 component elastic parameters are calculated from the measured overall density and velocities data in different porosities, based on critical porosity model and bilinear numerical inverse method. The process is as follow.Firstly, three linear relations, such as between porosity and density,P-wave modulus as well as shear modulus, are obtained, based on the critical porosity model. Each relation can be expressed as two linear equations which are used on inversion, and mean value of these two results from both equations is considered as the estimated value. This method is used to inverse component elastic parameters of saturated limestone and the difference between the calculated component elastic parameter and measured ones is tiny, especially in density data. The results show the reliability and efficiency of this method.
