Abstract VSP while drilling is new tool reducing exploration risk and improving drilling successful rate in drilling engineering. But the approach brings about very strong coherent noise and how to detecting useful signals under such strong noise background is key of application of the method. For that reason, the paper introduced multiple-domain denoise scheme of VSP records while drilling, that is: given noise model and the coherent noises are firstsubtracted from pilot signal and common shot point gather without cross-correlation of pilot signal by minimum square error criterion; then,the next de-noise is carried out on the pilot signal cross-correlated common receiver point gather according to the wavefield characters of well-site coherent noise on the VSP records while drilling. The excellent denoise results of practical data showed that the denoise scheme is feasible.
