Abstract:Because of large simulation calculation andtime consumption, the process of converted-wave(C-wave) Kirchhoff prestack time migration is anlow-efficient data processing method and its appli-canon is restricted.CPU-cluster computing is ap-plied widely at present;however CPU-clustershave some problem such as high power consump-tion,large space occupation, and high maintenancecosts.For improving the efficiency and reducingthe computing cost,we propose in this article aparallel algorithm of C-wave Kirchhoff prestacktime migration based on CUDA. Theoretical andreal C-wave data tests on the UPU and CPU plat-forms show that this algorithm is a high perform-ance and low cost C-wave Kirchhoff prestack time migration method as it can improve the calculation efficiency by 100 times.
