Application of GeoEast interpretation techniques in fine structure interpretation and effective reservoir characterization of Xinglong tectonic zone in Hetao New Area

Abstract:The Xinglong tectonic zone in the Hetao Basin has low exploration degree and few seismic and geological data. The structural characteristics and sedimentary reservoir characteristics are the basis for in-depth analysis of reservoir forming conditions,construction of reservoir forming model,and optimization of favorable exploration targets. Based on characteristic interpretation functions of the GeoEast system,this paper carries out two-dimensional and three-dimensional joint structural interpretation,paleogeomorphology and waveform cluster analysis,and seismic attribute analysis. Additionally,it clarifies the structural and sedimentary characteristics of the Xinglong tectonic zone and predicts the reservoir and effective reservoir distribution,providing technical support for target implementation and well location optimization.
