Abstract:Prestack depth migration of seismic data in CD area was studied so as to cope with image of complicated geologic structure According to both the geologic characteristics of Palaeozoic buried hills and the condition of seismic data in the area,we designed the following data processing steps: •Make the detailed preliminary processing of seismic data. •Design an initial geologic model by analysing the corresponding seismic,geologic,logging and drilling data. •Establish whole velocity-depth model by making the velocity analysis that involves CMP gather coherent inversion. •Do residual velocity analysis to improve velocity-depth model by means of migration velocity analysis method. •Achieve prestack depth migration image based on Kirchhoff's integration migration theory. The article gives example of prestack depth migration of 2-D seismic data The application effect of the technique is desirable.
