Abstract:The method includes the following steps: •Construct wave impedance model at borehole site by using the optimization algorithm which involves both forward and inverse computations. •Achieve the detailed 3-D correlation of geological horizons. •Obtain accurate 3-D wave impedance data block after the 3-D adaptive extrapolation inversion that is achieved by using the pilot model of wave impedance at borehole site,geological horizon restriction and bin control. •Offer some 3-D reservoir-parameter data blocks (involving velocity,density,porosity,etc.),time and interface slices of reservoir parameters,and the contour maps of reservoir parameters(involving velocity,porosity,accumulated thickness,effective thickness and so on).Logging,geological,drilling and core data are used in the inversion. The final results have accurate calibration,vertical resolution of 2-6m,and reasonable scales in vertical and horizontal directions.They can be the reliable bases for detailed reservoir prediction in rolling exploration.
