Abstract:There are many post-stack noise suppression methods, but their noise suppression effect excessively depends on the signal/noise ratio of seismic section. Consequently,people have difficulty in raising the signal/noise ratio of high-frequency contents of seismic section,so that the effective high frequency band of output seismic section can not be broadened desirably. In the post-stack noise suppression using signal direction restriction,the estimation of high-frequency effective signals is restrained by using direction of low-frequency effective signals which have high signal/noise ratio. As a result,we accurately estimate the effective signals in high frequency band and better the noise suppression,thus broadening the effective frequency band.
