Abstract:Due to low exploration maturity in Santanghu Basin,it is hard to microscopically and accurately predict the distribution of the fracture zone in the Depression by only utilizing nowadays fracture prediction method. Based on the fact that the fractures there showing strong heterogeneity and by referring the coherent attribute technique,a multiazimuthal analogy coherent attribute fracture prediction method was proposed in this paper. After applying the method to the fracture spatial distribution prediction in Kalagang Formation fracture zone in Malang Depression, the following understandings were achieved:①Two big fracture zones were developed in Carboniferous Kalagang Formation in the Malang Depression with the fracture associated structural fractures as the main fractures in the zones. Their distribution feature and the fault which controls the features' development have a consistent direction, and their exact presentations are that the fracture zone in the ES area distributes along the nearly EW direction, while the fracture zone in the NW area distribute along the NE direction.②The sensitive extent analysis from the geophysical characteristics shows that the fracture zone which develops in the NE direction were more developed than the one in nearly EW direction, being the favorite target zone in the future oilgas exploration.
