Abstract:The wave impedance inversion occupying important position in seismic exploration belongs to optimum issue of solution, the optimized objective function may include many continuous variations in a certain scope, the traditional optimum way has some problems such as some functions are difficult to be optimized that easily falls into local solution and slow convergent speed. The particle swarm algorithm only considers objective function and does not highly depend on the initial model, and can carry out the search randomly in global domain. Based on the principle of particle swarm algorithm, the paper presented the method implementing particle swarm algorithm in seismic trace inversion and analyzed in detail the anti-noise capacity of particle swarm algorithm; using model to check out the method showed the inverted result is consistent to the model in noise-free condition; the correlative coefficients before and after inversion are 98.31%, 93.27% and 82.09% respectively when adding 3%, 10% and 25% noise; The paper also proved that the method is effect when used for practical data.
