Abstract:In QL oilfield of Tu-Ha basin, along with the constant development of oil/gas development, we met a series of problems such as difficulty in determination of oil layer connectivity and relationship between injected and produced fluid, which constrained development progress. For that reason, applying 3D high-precision seismic data, the short-window discrete Fourier transform (DFT) is applied to seismic data related to the zone-of-interest of Qiketai, which transforms seismic data related to the bottom of Qiketai from time domain to frequency domain and uses instability of phases caused by faults in phase data cube of spectral factorization to recognize and interpret the minor faults of 1.0m~1.5m fault throw that was difficult to be recognized before. In combination with other data volume, the interpretation of faults is completed, which provides more reliable basic data for more clearly knowing the geologic feature of reservoir, analyzing oil-water relation and adjusting relationship between injected and produced fluid.
