Abstract:Shale gas reservoir prediction technology has significant difference when comparing with the conventional natural gas exploration. The paper carry out a research of shale gas section pre-stack elastic parameter inversion technique in Jiaoshiba area of Sichuan basin:Firstly,considering the particularity of shale gas reservoir and then establish the model of elastic parameters,and carry out the AVO forward analysis,then we sum up that the AVO response characteristics of shale gas has a “weak AVO phenomenon”;Secondly,the paper analyzes the inversion gathers and inversion method based on the superposition of that part of the former reservoir prediction for shale gas and the inversion results,we think the former is more suitable to depict the Wufeng-Longmaxi formation period of gas shale section with high precision pre-stack inversion method,and the result has higher resolution and are more coincide with drilling data;Finally,we apply the elastic parameters inversion of pre-stack gathers method to predict the TOC content of mud shale,and depicts the distribution range of high quality mud shale,then provide a favorable basis for shale gas development wells design.
