Abstract:The exploration of lacustrine carbonate hydrocarbon reservoirs is difficult and very few researches on this topic are conducted. Based on sequence framework and paleo-geomorphic restoration,we analyze system tract characteristics and carbonate sedimentary characteristics, and summarize lacustrine carbonate sedimentary patterns. The following observations are obtained:Firstly,there are big differences in thickness of lacustrine carbonates. Carbonate bottom boundaries present parallel,continuous,and strong amplitude at low frequency. These boundaries can be tracked in the whole area, while carbonate top boundaries present parallel,discontinuous,and weak amplitude at low frequency. There is mainly weak amplitude or bland reflection between carbonate top and bottom boundaries. Secondly, carbonates were developed in the depression controlled by north-east platform troughs,and different types of carbonates were developed with different water depth in troughs of the depression. Thirdly,carbonates in low system tract are mainly developed in the Gaosheng,Shuguang,Panshan depressions,and carbonates in high system tract are mainly distributed in the central and northern parts of Area Leijia.
