Abstract:Conventional fault identification methods use a single attribute.As seismic data quality is affected by the complex surface and subsurface,faults can hardly be identified although attribute algorithms such as coherence,variance and curvature.For fault identification in the Chaoyang area,Fushan Sag,we adopt a series of special tools provided by GeoEast,such as multi-window dip scanning,structure-guided filtering,coherence cube,edge-preserving smoothing filtering and ant tracking.Faults characteristics in the Chaoyang area are well depicted,which is helpful for the latter well drilling deployment.
