Abstract:To solve the problems of low seismic resolution and hard heterogeneity in marlstones in Shulu,Huabei Oilfield,a joint survey of eight-direction walkaway VSP and a full-azimuth 3D seismic is conducted.From the zero-offset VSP and walkaway VSP data,important parameters are accurately extracted such as formation velocity,TAR factor,Q factor,and anisotropy parameters,which are used to full-azimuth and high-density 3D seismic processing.Finally,higher-precision 3D imaging is achieved.Drilled wells based on our proposal have high yields of oil and gas.This indicates a promi-sing potential of the joint VSP and surface-seismic exploration in the oilfield development.
